Reservoirs and lakes are essential infrastructures in water resource management, serving multiple functions such as flood control, irrigation, water conservation, and raw water supply. However, many of these infrastructures experience degradation due to sedimentation, structural deterioration, and inadequate maintenance. This project focuses on updating the performance assessment and developing the Actual Needs for Operations and Maintenance (AKNOP) to support efficient and sustainable water infrastructure management. Conducted across various reservoirs and lakes in Jambi Province, this study involves structural evaluations, hydrological and topographical assessments, and operational analysis to ensure these facilities remain functional and resilient.
Utilizing modern survey techniques and data-driven methodologies, the project provides technical recommendations and cost planning for routine, periodic, and rehabilitation maintenance. By integrating national regulations, including Law No. 17 of 2019 on Water Resources and Government Regulation No. 42 of 2008 on Water Resource Management, the study delivers comprehensive reports, operational guidelines, cost budget plans (RAB), visual documentation, and geospatial data mapping to serve as key references for water resource planning.
Collaborating with Balai Wilayah Sungai Sumatera VI and PT. Globetek Glory Konsultan KSO PT. Estetika Panca Sanjaya, this project ensures that reservoirs and lakes in Jambi Province are managed efficiently, maintaining their critical role in environmental sustainability and water security. Through technical assessments and structured maintenance planning, this initiative provides a strategic framework for optimizing water infrastructure performance, securing long-term functionality for both communities and ecosystems.
Status: 100% Completed – Ready for Maintenance Phase
