The Semarang Barat Raw Water Supply Improvement Project is a strategic infrastructure initiative aimed at strengthening the reliability of water resources for the region. The supervision services were carried out by a dedicated team of professional engineers and technical experts, ensuring that every stage of the project adhered to the highest standards of quality, safety, and environmental compliance.

The scope of work includes:

• Pipeline Transmission System – covering procurement, installation, pressure testing, and supporting structures such as thrust blocks and accessories.
• Inspection Roads and Bridges – to ensure accessibility and long-term operational reliability.
• Drainage Structures – including cross-drain systems to enhance water flow management.
• Field Supervision and Design Review – aligning technical designs with on-site conditions and conducting adjustments when necessary.
• Quality and Safety Monitoring – enforcing strict compliance with construction safety regulations and technical specifications.
• Progress Evaluation and Reporting – documenting activities, challenges, and solutions in monthly reports.

During the first reporting period (February – March 2024), key achievements included:

• Mobilization of personnel, equipment, and supporting facilities.
• Execution of topographic surveys and initial soil investigations.
• Review and verification of construction drawings.
• Coordination meetings and design review discussions with stakeholders.
• Preparation of preliminary and monthly supervision reports.

The consultant team was structured into specialized roles including Team Leader, Supervision Engineer, Quality Engineer, Quantity Engineer, HSE Engineer, and supporting staff, ensuring well-coordinated supervision across all technical aspects.

Through this project, the supervisory consultant plays a critical role not only in monitoring construction progress but also in providing proactive solutions to challenges in the field. The work is expected to deliver a reliable and sustainable raw water supply system, supporting both the community and long-term regional development.
