The Supervision of Flood and Sediment Control Infrastructure Development in Batang Suliti, South Solok was conducted to ensure the proper implementation, quality control, and efficiency of the flood mitigation structures along Batang Suliti River. This project aimed to reduce flood risks and sedimentation issues by constructing revetments, river normalization structures, and groundsills to stabilize the riverbanks and enhance water flow management.

The project, with a contract value of Rp 53.7 billion, was executed over 265 calendar days, ensuring compliance with technical specifications, environmental regulations, and safety protocols. The supervision covered hydraulic structure inspections, material testing, construction progress assessments, and contractor compliance monitoringto achieve the project’s objectives.

Located in Pangkuah River and Sawah Laweh, Koto Parik Gadang Diateh (KPGD), South Solok, the project plays a vital role in protecting communities from recurring flood disasters and sediment buildup. Additionally, recommendations were provided for long-term sustainability measures, routine maintenance protocols, and sedimentation control strategies to enhance the resilience of the flood control infrastructure.
